New TeamSpeak Server

Please be aware that we are in the process of changing TeamSpeak servers. The previous TeamSpeak server had been a part of the license that included the FSX Multiplayer server, which was previously used by the legacy Boston Virtual ATC organization. Now that the transition to VATSIM has occurred, the FSX servers have been shut down. Steve Ablonczy graciously offered to host a new TeamSpeak server, which will save the organization a lot of money over time.

In the next few days as the DNS propagates you will find that, depending on your internet service provider (ISP), you may or may not be able to connect to the new TeamSpeak server. Please be patient as this may take up to 5 days or so. In the mean time, some people will be able to connect to the new server while some are only able to connect to the old. We understand this is frustrating as we will essentially have two servers, however, please bare with us and keep in mind it is only for a short period of time until everyone's ISPs are up to date.

Thanks for the post BN! As you guys may or may not know, BN and Steve worked together to re-create the new TeamSpeak server, ensuring it looks and works just like the old one. Well done!

For most members, teamspeak.bvartcc.com will point to the new server before the end of the night.

I would encourage everyone to check their TeamSpeak bookmarks now to ensure that you're connecting to 'teamspeak.bvartcc.com' and not any of the old information.

And just a friendly reminder, please do not share the TeamSpeak information (server address or password) with anyone. Members can access this information on the Member TeamSpeak page of the website, once logged in.

Please note that the TeamSpeak password has just been changed.
