  1. Howdy, Just wanted to say thanks for organizing the RC event in ZMP's airspace. One of the things I miss about pre-merger BVA is the diversity of locations for these events. ZBW is great, but it is nice to have an event outside our airspace from time to time.
  2. D'Andre from AirDailyX apparently participated in the Pack the Pattern last night:
  3. Pilots -> Pilot References -> Equipment Suffixes (EquipmentSuffixes.aspx): The link for "Equipment Type Suffix Selector" in the second paragraph still points to bostonvirtualatc.com. Switching the domain to bvartcc.com allowed me to see and use the tool. I hit almost every link available from the front page this afternoon (before I saw this post) and didn't have any other problems, for what it's worth.
  4. Nice, thanks for the screenshots and the information on Alaska Airlines! I had a blast with the Getaway, I wouldn't have minded it lasting longer. I still have a Piper Cherokee there, working my way through a re-fly of the VFR Challenge route we did up there. It's actually parked at Johnson's Landing right now - that landing was hairier with a P28A than it was in the C172. but I didn't go in the lake! I also did a bit of reading about the places I was visiting up there, and the way things have to work up there from a transportation and supply perspective are in such contrast to what I'm used to on the East coast, it's fascinating to me. I did a lot of VFR in GA aircraft during the getaway, but I'd like to try some of the routes you listed eventually. I should probably start taking screenshots to chronicle my adventures as well, that's a good idea.
  5. Doh, wish I'd checked the forums for this beforehand. Now I know what shyfly meant when he mentioned "the story" in FlightDesk earlier. That said, this was very enjoyable, and was great practice at reading and using sectionals for navigation. It was also great to hear so many people on. Thanks for organizing this, and I look forward to future challenges with you folks!
