  1. That was someone else. I was flying the PC12. I had been vectored for the Approach at KHYA but knew it wasn’t going to work since I wasn’t receiving the ILS. I asked for and was given a hold at LSV until I could determine what the problem was. I looked at P3D’s map and saw it was using an older frequency. I did some digging this morning and did verify I had the Featured Airports Scenery Enhancement installed. It then occurred to me that ORBX’s FTX Central had loaded some updates recently. I checked P3D’s Scenery, and found that all of ORBX’s Scenery was at the top. I moved all of BVARTCC ‘s Scenery to the top and that updated the ILS Freq at KHY. My library now looks like this: Anybody see any issues? Lantz
  2. Evan, I looked on this page: http://www.bvartcc.com/Members/Downloads/AirportUpdates.aspx I didn’t see any update for KACK. That wasn’t the airport I had difficulty with. It was actually the ILS24 approach for KHYA. I don’t see an update for that either. I believe I do have the Featured Airport Scenery Enhancement installed. In looking around the Internet, I found the following source for nav updates: http://www.aero.sors.fr/navaids3.html I may give those a try. Lantz
  3. I’d like to say excellent job to all the controllers who participated in today’s event. With the extremely low weather conditions, I found it quite challenging and realistic. I was able to make flights from KBOS to KACK and KACK to HYA without problems, although I’ve discovered that P3D v4.1 seems to have an out of date frequency for the ILS24. My third flight from KHYA to KBOS was not to be. Three different simulator crashes took the wind out of my sails. Still, besides the last attempted flight, it was quite enjoyable. Lantz
  4. Are there any recommended scenery downloads for the upcoming Regional Circuit between KOPF and KEYW? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Moved to Events
  5. Here is the folder content. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. I've installed both downloads and connected vPilot without getting any errors. There were a few airliner overflights nearby at the time but the better test will be during one of our events. I thought I'd post a picture of the contents of my P3D/Sim Objects folder. The only payware aircraft I've added are the Alabeo C404, the Flight1 B200, and the Carenado Phenom 300. P3D doesn't have as many aircraft to draw on as FSX. Conspicuously missing is a C-172! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Ross, the problem some of us are having is in using the WOAI installer in P3D. In my case, it installs one or two airlines, then throws an error. I'm hoping Evans plan removes the necessity of installing WOAI aircraft. We will probably always need BVARTCC's list of aircraft so that it includes the Cape Air models plus P3D doesn't have the base list that FSX does. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. As a P3D user, I'll get this loaded up straight away. Just to be sure I delete any old WOAI packages, would they be installed anywhere except the P3D/Sim Objects/Airplanes folder? I'd volunteer to create "some rules" but I have no experience in doing so. If anyone can direct me to a source of learning, I'll give it a shot. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Always a pleasure guys and looking forward to more in the future. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. As this was mostly my first Regional Circuit I'd really participated in, I can't give a comparison to the earlier ones. I do agree that I saw a lot of airliners participating. I think my Cape Air C404 was a bit of a "thorn in the side" of the controllers so I got quite a few vectors on both legs of my round robin KDEN KEGE KDEN flights. My first experience with the 3 mile taxis at KDEN. They had me line up and wait on 34L for a bit and then gave me a reroute using a departure procedure, which I had to look up, read, then get loaded into the GTN750 while others waited behind me. After departure, flying the procedure, I took quite a while trying to figure out how it joined my route for the "then as filed" part of my clearance. As anyone that flew could tell, ATC was very busy. The wait on the ground with engines running for takeoff at KEGE was a bit excessive but not unrealistic with today's flow control. I probably should have started at KEGE and flew against traffic. On the hole, I thought it was very successful and I learned a bit more while gaining much needed experience. Plus 2 more logged Cape Air flights! Lantz
  11. I'm getting into the ground school a little late. Is there a location on the website where I can find all the recordings and handouts?
