  1. Congrats on the well deserved role Braden. I'm excited to work with you on the team!
  2. Please join me in congratulating our newest ZBW controller Brett Smithling (SG)! SG did an excellent job controlling the BGR/BTV/MHT regional circuit event tonight working event traffic, Y90 arrivals into BDL, ORH and HFD and even handling an emergency stuck gear situation. Congratulations on this achievement and welcome to the big leagues!
  3. After receiving feedback from members of the community, we've decided to announce a 90-day trial period of the A90_APP position, beginning on September 8th, 2022 and ending on December 7th, 2022. During this period, you may see controllers logged in as A90_APP. A90_APP covers BOS_APP, MHT_APP, and ACK_APP. If you are departing or arriving a Boston area airport and don't see BOS, MHT, or ACK online, give A90_APP a call! If you are unsure of who to call, please don't hesitate to reach out to a controller. We're here to help! If you have any feedback, please feel free to share in this thread. Controllers, please see this thread for more information. A90_APP works the following airports top-down, and the airspace outlined below:
  4. Please join me in congratulating our newest ZBW controller Jonathan Halverson (HS)! After years spent studying for exams, training on the Sweatbox, and pouring over SOPs and LOAs, HS encountered his final boss tonight: an XP72 stream from ATL to BOS. Equipped with his trusty .wallop, HS assigned speeds left and right, vectored and resequenced aircraft to emerge victorious with a perfect ROBUC arrival stream. For his valiant effort and sacrifice to our community I am happy to award him the C1 rating he deserves. Congratulations and welcome to the big leagues!
  5. Please join me in congratulating our newest ZBW controller Jackson Choran (JC)! JC's dedication to BVA's training program and hard work learning the ropes on the network has earned him his C1 and prestigious spot on our roster as a ZBW controller! However, sources have been quoted saying he only intends to use his new rating to apply for visiting status at Montreal so he can speak French on the radio... Regardless, well done with your training and congrats!
  6. Please join me in congratulating our newest ZBW controller Braden Kearney (KY)! As a result of his dedication to BVA, formidable study habits, and great effort demonstrated throughout his training KY did an outstanding job completing ZBW training in a record low number of sessions. It is my pleasure to offer him his C1 rating and a spot on our roster as an en-route controller. Congrats again!
  7. Congrats NN! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Please join me in congratulating our newest ZBW controller Milan Kroemer (KE)! KE did an excellent job completing the most difficult training progression in BVA, and as a result has earned a spot as an en-route controller! This is no easy feat and KE has continually shown great resolve in earning all of his certifications. Welcome to the big leagues!
  9. Thank you everyone! I'm very excited to continue serving BVA in this new role.
  10. Nice work ME! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Please join me in congratulating our newest C APP controller Christopher Moyer (MO)! MO was highly MOtivated through his training to MOve aircraft efficiently and ace his training MOdules. He's no MOron! Welcome to the radar room, and may the vector gods protect your localizers.
